Increasing the Impact in Mindanao

God is bringing so much growth to our beachfront camp in Mindanao now that the dry season has officially begun. For the first quarter alone, we welcomed 3,700 campers. More have come, and we are expecting more as the season peaks in April and May!

After two years, we have resumed annual Word of Life events that were postponed because of the pandemic. One of these is an overnight evangelistic sports fest that we call Midnight Madness, and it is currently ongoing! Aside from Word of Life events, our Mindanao Missionaries also get increasingly involved in sharing the Gospel and facilitating programs for groups and churches that visit us.

God is still using Bible Basketball as a doorway for Filipinos to hear the Gospel! Ernie Hautala started this ministry when he founded Word of Life Philippines 50 years ago. Today, it is led by Ian Anay, who himself came to know Christ through Bible Basketball. Please pray for Ian as he prepares to be a full-time missionary.

Pray for Mindanao Camp

We are blessed to witness how God is giving growth to the camping ministry at Mindanao. However, as our reach increases, so does the need to expand our means to cater to many groups. Currently, we are utilizing our 50-year-old campsite at full capacity. Please pray with us as we desire to increase our impact in the months and years to come.

Our Mindanao Camp has witnessed generations of young people coming to know Christ. Like Ian Anay, some of them have gone to serve in full-time ministry and are leading a new generation!
