Ministry Description

I organize Sports Events in and out of Word of Life Seaside Camp to create evangelism opportunities. We do that by connecting to churches and Pastors, or through direct invitation to companies or individuals. We also have a weekly basketball clinic where we incorporated our discipleship program.

Ministry Impact

God’s hand is truly evident in the lives of young people we have reached out through our Basketball Ministry. They are now in different churches, and actively participating in church ministries. We have one disciple who is now a WOLBI alumnus. And we have a few others who is now part of our core team evangelizing and discipling young basketball players. God is greatly to be praised!

Profile

I was a lost sinner saved by the grace of God and now, with the same amazing grace of God, I live to serve Him. I love basketball and God used the ministry of WOL Bible Basketball Ministry so that I can know and have a relationship with Him. WOL Seaside Camp hired me for some construction jobs and after two years I decided to go study at WOLBI. There, God gave me the burden to reach young men who was lost like me. I became a maintenance staff at WOL seaside while doing Basketball Ministry alongside and now I am a full-time Sports Ministry Missionary by the grace of God.

Spouse Profile

I grew up with a Christian Mom who would take us to church, and prayer meetings and I prayed to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior many times but only had the peace and assurance of my salvation when I was a college student already. Five years after college I met Ian at WOL Seaside Camp, we became friends, fell in love, and got married. Ian’s passion to reach out to young men and how God has been giving him wisdom and guidance and abilities to do just that amazes me. It’s a fire burning. And I fully support him. Now we are WOL full-time missionaries, praise God!
