God reveals Himself to us

Our God is not distant. He did not leave us on our own but has revealed Himself and is still speaking to us today through the Bible. Even more, God reveals Himself through creation. During Nature Camp, we spent a weekend close to God’s creation and dwelling on His Word!

Sixty-nine young professionals set up tents at the Riverside Property that the Lord has graciously provided three years ago. There, participants learned more about who God is through His Word, our speakers, and His creation. We were also encouraged to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us.

Forty-six of those who joined us experienced WOL Camp for the first time! Like Neil, some understood that the only way for a person to be saved is to believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and resurrected. There were also individuals who dedicated their lives to God.

Some campers like Janclif had to travel more than five hours to join us. While heavy rains forced us to move into cabins hastily, we were not discouraged. Instead, we’ve had an even sweeter fellowship! Many were simply delighted to play in the rain and make new friendships.

Camping Ministry may not be new to us, but our first Nature Camp has shown us that we can never run out of new experiences and learnings. This camp would not be possible without your outpouring of prayers and giving. We are excited to make Nature Camp a staple of our annual camp programs!
